About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated production environment, operating and monitoring pharmaceutical machinery to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient processing of products. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment, ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with all safety and GMP regulations.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the setup, cleaning, and operation of machinery.
  • Measure, weigh, and record raw materials according to batch records and manufacturing instructions.
  • Perform in-process quality checks to verify product weight, appearance, labeling, and documentation accuracy.
  • Assist with changeovers, line clearance, and cleaning between product batches.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and batch documentation.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or deviations immediately to the supervisor or maintenance department.
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with company and FDA requirements.
  • Support production goals while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Packaging Operator in a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and batch record documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to identify and communicate equipment issues.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
